101 Retailers that have gone Mobile

How often have you shopped for a product in a brick-and-mortar store and wondered if you could find a better price online? You could schlepp your laptop around town to do such research, but that seems rather tacky and wi-fi access isn't always available.

The answer is mobile commerce (M-Commerce).

According to a recent Foresee Results survey, one-third of online shoppers already use their mobile phones for M-Commerce. These shoppers pulled out their phones before making a purchase. As a result, more and more retailers are embracing mobile commerce, either in the form of mobile sites or mobile apps, to market their products.

Mobile commerce allows us to buy movie tickets, make travel reservations and order that new pair of shoes with mobile coupons, all from the comfort of wherever we are at that moment.
