Turkey

The MVP of Thanksgiving dinner, turkeys adorn most tables this festive day. These birds don’t come cheap, however. Families feeding large groups of people can expect to drop a good amount of money on just the turkey alone. But fear not! There are ways to save without becoming a vegetarian.

Butterball Rebates. Get $3 back on your fresh or frozen whole turkey purchase! Simply buy two qualifying items, which include Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi wine, Marie Callender’s frozen pies or Sister Schubert’s Frozen Dinner Rolls. Mail in your receipt to receive the rebate. More info here.

If you buy Butterball often, you can also print out a rebate form to receive $5 worth of coupons in the mail. These coupons can be used towards future Butterball purchases.

$3 off Jennie-O. Print a Jennie-O coupon that will save you $3 off an Oven-Ready turkey! Available in traditional or Cajun-style, these turkeys come pre-seasoned and in their own baking bag. They also include a gravy packet.

Grocery Circulars. One of the best methods for turkey-buying is to pay attention to your local ads, starting now. Many stores offer low per-pound rates on turkey the weeks before Thanksgiving. Some stores even offer free turkeys with purchases reaching a qualifying amount. Stores like Safeway, Albertsons and Fred Meyer are among those offering free turkeys with $150 purchases.

Sides

For some, the sides are the best part of Thanksgiving. From traditional stuffing, green bean casseroles, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce to concoctions a little more out of the box, we’ve got grocery coupons to save you on side dish essentials.

Snacks

The process of “putting away a lot of food” starts with snacks and appetizers. If your family eats later in the day, you’ll need a little something to keep everyone going during the parades and football games. Party mix is always a good option, and everybody enjoys a good cheese-and-cracker plate. Check out the coupons below to save on snacktime ingredients!

Desserts

Before you go for that third plate of food, don’t forget dessert! When the turkey coma wears off and your sweet tooth kicks in, be sure you’ve got something delicious on the menu to complete the feast. Use these coupons to save on pie filling, crusts and more.
