What is Coupon Sherpa?
Coupon Sherpa gives iPhone and iPod Touch users access to in-store mobile coupons and printable coupons (found on the Internet) for many of the most popular retailers. The coupons on Coupon Sherpa are for in-store use and not online use. Coupon Sherpa is the logical next step in the convergence of shopping and technology.
How does Coupon Sherpa works?
There are two types of Coupons on Coupon Sherpa.
1. Mobile Coupons - This application features coupons from many retailers that are exclusive to Coupon Sherpa users. Show these coupons to at checkout to receive the discount.
2. Internet Coupons - The Coupon Sherpa staff scours the internet daily to conveniently bring you the best in-store coupons. Find a coupon you would like to use by searching for the store name or category, then show it on your iPhone at check out, or email it to yourself to print out later.
Does Coupon Sherpa Work With Barcode Scanners?
Yes and No. There are two types of barcode scanners. Optical scanners and Laser scanners. Optical scanners will scan barcodes on the iPhone. Laser scanners will not. Many retailers are making the switch to optical scanners to take advantage of barcode scanning on mobile devices.
What if the Barcode doesn’t scan?
If the barcode doesn’t scan, kindly ask the cashier to key in the barcode numbers. Cashiers already do this for coupons that people print off from the internet that don’t scan.
What if a retailer won’t accept the coupon on the iPhone?
It is possible that some retailers will not accept coupons on the iPhone. You will need to email the coupon to yourself and then print it off.

There is no cost to merchants to put their coupons on Coupon Sherpa. Send an email to feedback@couponsherpa.com.
How do I get my coupons off of Coupon Sherpa?
If you don’t want Coupon Sherpa to link to your online printable coupons, just send an email to feedback@couponsherpa.com asking us not to include your coupons and we’ll remove them.
What is Coupon Sherpa?
With Coupon Sherpa merchants are able to reach shoppers with money saving coupons on their mobile devices. Coupon Sherpa is the mobile version of printable coupons, only without the paper.
How does it work?
When purchasing items at brick-and-mortar stores shoppers can show the cashier their iPhone or iPod Touch that has a coupon for that store. The cashier will t hen give the shopper the discount for that coupon. Coupons can either be scannable barcodes or alpha numeric codes that are typed into the cash register.
What mobile devices does Coupon Sherpa work on?
Coupon Sherpa works on the iPhone and iPod Touch.
What does it cost?
There is no cost for retailers to be on Coupon Sherpa. Retailers can add as many coupons to Coupon Sherpa as they like for no fee.
